About the Program

The Graduate Program in Physics (PPGF) at UFPI began its activities in 2008 with the Master's course. Since then, scientific output has reached levels of excellence and the program has graduated a significant number of Master's students, with considerably improved infrastructure.

The course received a grade of 4 in the 2017 four-year evaluation and, more recently, reached a CAPES grade of 5. By the end of 2018, the PPGF had its doctoral APCN approved and began activities with its first cohort in 2019.1.
